 http://www.churchillhouse.com : Free on-line lessons.  Several levels.  You answer the questions online and receive a score.  Free downloads. Ask Dr. Grammar any questions you have about English and he will email an answer.  Seems to be good stuff.
http://www.englishpage.com : Advanced lessons.  Some good lessons - usage, grammar, vocabulary.  Answer on line, learn results right away.  Good explanations and examples.  One lesson I looked at was not complete.  There is a large list of lessons on specific grammar topics.
http://eslus.com/eslcenter.htm : This site offers instructional materials on all aspects of the English language and at a variety of levels.
http://esl.about.com/cs/intermediate : English lessons that can be done on-line - answers marked and results given.  The site seems to be overrun by pop-up ads so be prepared.
http://www.english-portal.com/  This site offers a wide variety of topics and materials and uses on-line question and answer activities.  Lesson topics include vocabulary, grammar, games, business English, conversation situations, etc.  Some of the simpler and easier activities are free on the site, but for more serious work, you need to pay a monthly subscription fee.
http://www.littleworld.info  :  This is a broad-based site containing links to many language-learning resources: dictionaries, translation services, on-line courses, ESL instruction, etc.
