TIPS ON SURVIVING BOXING DAY Madness
1. Wear a side bag - this will allow you to have two hands to: push/grab/SHOVEpush someone or somethink with a quick, violent movement (not!), hold your bags and look through the piles of clothing.
2. Bring less cash - I think credit cards are the way to go. It is really easy to loose money when you have a whole WADseveral things or clothes tied together on you. All you really need to know how to say is, "Charge it!" However, know your limit!
3. Wear comfy shoes - you'll be standing alot, walking alot, and maybe even running alot. So make sure you wear comfy shoes...runners!
4. Wear layers - it's going to be really crowded and hot in the mall. So I suggest you wear layers and maybe even skip the bulky jacket (one less thing to carry). Comon, you can handle the cold for just a bit!
4. Opt for comfy/easy to change clothing - you maybe be trying on things and/or putting things ontop of your regular clothing because the change rooms are too long. Best to wear comfy and easy to change clothes.
5. Eat and drink before you head out - line ups are gonna be long everywhere. You don't want to waste your time eating or lining up for food. Also, you want to be well hydrated while you're shopping!
7. Make a list - of place you want to hit up and things that you definately need/want. It's easy to get carried away with all these sales.
8. TAKE TRANSITConveyance of people or goods from one place to another, especially on a local public transportation system. - it's gonna be busy.. take transit and don't stress about parking!
9. Shop online - there are always great salesonline. You just need to have fast fingers or 3 computers going on at the same time =) Have your credit card ready and make sure your alarm is set for 1 min before 12. Best thing is you can be in your pjs!
10. BE PREPARED AND GOOD LUCK!

!Mira que luna! Look at that moon! Resources for learning English
Fernando Olivera: El rapto.- TEXT FROM THE NOVEL The goldfinch by Donna Tartt (...) One night we were in San Antonio, and I was having a bit of a melt-down, wanting my own room, you know, my dog, my own bed, and Daddy lifted me up on the fairgrounds and told me to look at the moon. When "you feel homesick", he said, just look up. Because the moon is the same wherever you go". So after he died, and I had to go to Aunt Bess -I mean, even now, in the city, when I see a full moon, it's like he's telling me not to look back or feel sad about things, that home is wherever I am. She kissed me on the nose. Or where you are, puppy. The center of my earth is you". The goldfinch Donna Tartt 4441 English edition
