2      Fill the gaps with TO + INFINITIVE or the -ING form of the verb in brackets.

·     REMEMBER telling him.

·     I must REMEMBER to tell him.
(Something to remember for the future.)

1          Are you sure you remembered  to turn the iron off before you left? (turn)
2          I distinctly remember turning  the iron off before I left. (turn)
3          Roger didn't remember to turn the grill off and so the kitchen caught fire. (turn)
4          Many witnesses remember seeing three people inside the building before it caught fire. (see)
