Gobsmacked : it means to be astounded, flabbergasted, speechless with amazement it's a compound word witch the first part gob is a slang means mouth ( human mouth )and the second part smacked is formal from to smack.

Meaning: mouth
For example:

·                           I threw the ball to Clive, but he missed the catch and it hit him right in the gob.
