LEGIT. SLANG.

legit
Meaning: legal; conforming to rules or regulations
For example:
·                       If your diploma is legit then you've got nothing to worry about, but if it's fake you'll be in a lot of trouble.
·                       If you only paid fifty dollars for the software, it won't be legit. It'll be an illegal copy.
Origin: short for "legitimate"
