SCHOOL PEACE DAY

El día 30 de enero se conmemora la muerte del líder nacional y espiritual de la India,  Mahatma Gandhi, el 30 de Enero de 1948, asesinado a tiros por un fanático hinduista. Celebramos en este día el Día Escolar de la No–violencia y la Paz. El objetivo es resaltar la importancia de la educación en y para la tolerancia, la solidaridad, la concordia, el respeto a los Derechos Humanos, la no-violencia y la paz. Y destacar el papel de los centros educativos como instrumentos de paz y entendimiento entre personas de distinta formación, raza, cultura y religión.
